perseverance, character; and character, hope.
What are you most passionate about? Are you passionate about making a change? Doing something that has never been done before? What is the perseverance that drives you? Before you answer, here is a revelation about the Apostle Paul. The Apostle Paul whose name was previously Saul of Tarsus and Israels greatest enemy. He persecuted the Christians of Israel, all because of one word. Jesus’s name and teachings. Just like Saul we too also persecute one another, without even saying anything.
Fast forward, Saul was placed on a path, and a mission that could’t be ignored. The true humility of a merciful man reflected in Saul’s eyes, and God showed mercy. You see our heavenly Father, renewed Saul and gave him a new name Paul. Therefore, in order for this spiritual act to take place. Paul had to turn away from his old life and take up the yolk of Jesus Christ.
How many of us are willing to say goodbye to the old us? In everything do not be afraid, for God’s yolk is easy and His burden is light.- Matthew 11:30.
Dear Father, I come before you humbled and so sorry for speaking and doing acts that bring you no glory, or honor. Father, renew me just like your servant Paul, and allow me to be your voice to your people. Amen.
