The 67th Annual Emmy Awards Recap: Viola Davis Makes History

Did you guys see the Emmys last night? If you did thumbs up, if you didn’t let’s recap! Last night’s 67th Annual Emmy Awards was anything, but boring. The excitement in my house was on stoppable. With special appearances by so many familiar faces, and along with photos of those who passed away. Nevertheless, the Emmy stage is once again grassed by Tracy Morgan, who was almost killed in a fatal crash, last June of 2014.

Here is the video of his miraculous recovery speech at the Emmys:

The show also continues with ground breaking Television finales and shows that we all love, including, Empire, Game of Thrones, & How To Get Away With Murder. In the end, Oscar nominated actress Viola Davis, makes history being the first African American woman to win an Emmy in the best leading actress in a drama series category.

Relive the historical moment:

The overall show was amazing Andy Samberg was the perfect host and last, but not least congratulations to the winners and nominees.

Have a Golden Week.
