Have a Wonderful Week

“Make each day count no matter how many no’s or disappointment surrounds you.” Danna Davis

“We live between the act of awakening and the act of surrender. Each morning, we awaken to the light and the invitation to a new day in the world of time; each night, we surrender to the dark to be taken to play in the world of dreams where time is no more.”- John O’Donohue

Love Always Hopes (A Girl Devotional Series)

Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth.  It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.

1 Corinthians 13:4-7

Have you ever felt like you don’t deserve love? Were you made to feel this way? If so, I understand. I grew up with just my mother, my four siblings , and God in my life. As you can see their is no father stated, I grew up with allot of questions, and curiosities as to why has that spot been left empty. It was explained to me why it is, and although I never really fully understood, eventually I got the hint. Let’s just say that wasn’t the end of it, the signs of my fathers absents played a huge role in my life.

I never really trusted anybody besides my family, it was hard for me too except love from someone else, and I was filled with so much sadness. Nevertheless, I know how the shoes fit, I’ve been their, but how I came out of that tormented state. I realized that it was not my fault that my father left, and that I deserve love. When I uttered those words I became free. Whatever your going through in your life, I pray that no matter what you will not lose your love.

Pray to God for strength He will help you, as He helped me.

Dear Father, I thank you for my life, and for your love. The love that you show me every waking day teaches me how to love. I pray that your Holy Spirit will comfort anyone who reads this. In Jesus name Amen.

Forgiving One Another ( A Girl Devotional Series)

14 For if you forgive men when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you.
15 But if you do not forgive men their sins, your Father will not forgive your sins.

Matthew 6:14-15

Have you ever done something very bad, knowing that it was bad to do in the first place? Have you said sorry? And was your apology accepted? The answer is yours too decide. Nevertheless, what does your heart say? The conscious of mercy is hard to fight, at least for some of us. The human tendency to not forgive is far more easy to commit. The question of the hour is are we so flawless to not forgive another of their sins. John 3:16 clearly answers all of those questions.

God forgave you of your sins, now open up your heart to forgive another.

Dear Father, I thank you for this day and for your forgiveness. Lord, give me a heart of forgiveness, and mercy for my fellow man. Amen
