Classic Movies of 2017: Stalker’s Prey

Last weekend, we were all glued to the television. Honestly, I made sure to bring all of movie snacks closer and tried not to blink, because the Lifetime Movie Stalker’s Prey did not disappoint. The movie was written by John Doolan, if some of you don’t know about him, after watching his movie, you better find out! I’m serious, Stalker’s Prey ignited my fire for lifetime movies again, because let’s be honest lifetime has not been slaying in the movie department. For the passed year, we have seen dozens of lifetime movies, but they lacked complexity.

Some of us still lavish in the glory days of real movies, so John Doolan brought that back. I’m not going to give the movie away for those who haven’t seen it, but you wouldn’t be bored let’s just say. The acting is impeccable and really showcased new faces and our favorite Fox Worth child Mason Dye brought all of the cra cra in everything scene, while still captivating us with his charming persona.  As for our leading lady Saxon Sharbino, you really committed to your role and kicked Mason’s butt in the final scene. Another special thank to John Doolan for not  erasing Camrus Johnson character out of the movie to fast.

Overall, this movie kept my attention and I will most definitely be watching it again. Will you?  Below is the actual Lifetime Commercial and Upcoming Showtime for those who didn’t see the movie.

Reflections Of Imagination: Alice Through the Looking Glass

Yay!!! Last night during the Grammy awards I saw the new trailer for the new Alice in Wonderland movie. I was so excited, especially since the original cast is returning! My favorite actor Johhny Depp once again is our Madd Hatter, including the late Alan Rickman. The new premise of this legendary story: Alice (Mia Wasikowska) returns to the whimsical world of Underland and travels back in time to save the Mad Hatter (Johnny Depp).

I’m definitely watching! Plus, once I see the movie I will give a movie review on my YouTube channel.

Stay Tuned.

Unbreak My Heart:Movie Review

Last night the whole of social media was raving about the Toni Braxton biopic: Unbreak My Heart. The movie is based on the life of seven-time Grammy award-winning Toni Braxton, and her rise to stardom, her financial difficulties, and her journey back to the mic stand. The movie not only exposed the secrets of the music industry but it also touched on some very difficult topics, like abortion, divorce, raising an autistic child, and facing a life-threatening illness. The pop singer faced it all. With the public humiliation and personal struggles Toni Braxton still kept her faith with the help of God and her family.

I watched the movie on Saturday night along with the whole world, and I have never seen such a powerful biopic before I saw this movie. Hats off to (Lex Scott Davis) as our Toni Braxton and for committing emotionally in the movie. Along with ( Debbi Morgan)  who played Toni Braxton’s mother, Evelyn Braxton with so many other amazing actors/actress, this movie has revealed to us the true meaning of a star and icon Toni Braxton.

My Sweet Audrina: Movie Review

The Lifetime network has once again surprised me with their new movies. One, in particular, is the latest plot twisting thriller taken from the novel by V. C. Andrews, My Sweet Audrina. Initially, when I tuned in Saturday night, my expectations were sky high. Since the first four V.C. Andrews movies took social media by a storm with Flowers in the Attic.  Although, My Sweet Audrina is a completely different story with a troubling revelation.

The mystery of a grim family secret is intriguing. The plot is based on Audrina living in her family’s secluded mansion, and is kept alone and out of sight and is haunted by nightmares of her older sister, First Audrina, who was left for dead in the woods after an attack. As she begins to question her past and her disturbing dreams, the grim truth is slowly revealed.  The movie is starring India Eisley (as Audrina), James Tupper,  Seth Isaac Johnson, and Chronicles of Narnia star Willam Mosley.

Wow! that’s it I can’t tell you anymore, because I don’t know if you’ve watched it yet. Let’s just say the movie threw me for a loop and kept my attention, which is very hard to do.
